NEWTON, Elizabeth (nee Richmond) - Peacefully on June 3, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital in her 85th year. Loving wife for 65 years of Joseph Newton. Dear mother of Bettyann (Tom) Colclough, Joe (Deborah) and Tom. Beloved grandma of Jeff (Cathy) Colclough, Catherine (Craig) Hirst, Jennifer and Alyssa. Special Nanny to Reece, Ethan, Sarah, Ryan, Adam and Dylan. Elizabeth was a long time member of New Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder and Past President of The Women's Association.
The family will receive friends at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Service will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Thursday at 11 am. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In Elizabeth's memory, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
