Else Stange

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Mutti and Oma in her 93rd year.

Else was steadfast in her beliefs and full of confidence, very loving, a person who enjoyed serving others with care and compassion. She loved to visit with friends and family as well as host gatherings. She was an amazing cook. Despite her difficult early years in Europe, she raised a family while working hard and maintaining a busy social schedule.

Else married her beloved Richard (d. 1997) in 1955 and together they raised their three children, Erich (Larraine), Robert (Christine) and Gerhard. Else loved and was loved by her grandchildren Devon (Danielle), Salina, Jacody and Richard.

Forever remembered, forever missed. A special “thank you” to all of the wonderful staff at Macassa Lodge for the excellent care given.

Friends and family are invited to attend Marlatt Funeral Home, 195 King St. West, Dundas on Wednesday, August 6, for viewings at 2 – 4 and 7 – 9.

The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, August 7, 11:00 A.M. at The Church of God, 265 Bowman Street, Hamilton. Interment will follow the Service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1895 Main St. W., Hamilton.

Everyone is welcome back to the Church of God after the Interment for sandwiches and refreshments and to celebrate Else’s life.
