It is with disbelief and sadness that we announce the passing of Johnny Rotella, age 59, after a courageous battle. Loving husband of Savina. Adored and admired father of Adam (Yana) and Sarah (Joel). Beloved son of Giovanni (predeceased) and Elisabetta. Cherished brother of Costantino (Nancy), Tom (Carolina), Mario and Maria. Dear brother-in-law of Carla, Vince, Marcello, Rachelle and Maurizio. Beloved uncle of Michael (Sophie), Paul, Matthew, Eric, Madelyn (Billy), Christopher (Sophia) Rotella, Matthew (Laura) and Michael Ariemma. Yang, Reiter, Al-Majarafi and extended staff. Visitation will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Tuesday, July 14th, from 4pm-8pm. Prayers will be held at the funeral home at 7:45pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas on Wednesday, July 15th, at 11:00am. Interment to follow at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery, Dundas. If so desired, donations will be gratefully accepted by Juravinski Cancer Centre.
