Helen Diane Hunter

Helen Diane Hunter passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on Friday May 30th 2025 at Emmanuel House, Hamilton, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of late Husband Tim Hunter. Loving Mother of Matthew, T.J. (Janice) and Katie. Treasured Grandmother to Sarah,William, Abbey, Jaylin, Davin, Colton and Kaden. Helen will be remembered as a loving, musical, resourceful and giving woman. She possessed a unique talent for making much from little, a skill she honed through years of practical living. Helen found immense joy in many things in life. In her spare time she would transform fabric into intricate works of quilting art and more. Helen would often use her sewing and crocheting skills to craft gifts for friends and family. If there was a special occasion or function, Helen would always use her baking skills to prepare something amazing. Sundays her musical talent graced the Rockton United Church where she played the piano and organ for countless church services. At Helen's request, cremation has taken place, with a private family graveside service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton. A short service will be held for Helen at Rockton United Church, 792 Old Highway 8, Rockton, on Saturday June 28th at 1:00 p.m, all are welcome to attend with a celebration of life following. In memory of Helen, any donations made to the Rockton Lions Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
