Carole, Mark and Cathy  (and families)- often over the years I stopped and chatted with your mother in Churchill park, asking after you all, while she was walking the dog (I'm sure a number of different dogs over the years) - she gladly told me of your whereabouts and doings, especially you Carole. She was a wonderful lady, although I must admit I still thought of her as Mrs. Hughes until many years after that was no longer the case. As my parents too have passed on and Churchill park is no longer a common meeting place for me - and is missed - I still fondly recall these encounters. I am acquainted with the people who live in the house now, and  it is interesting to see how the neighbourhood has changed (people anyway), and I know she enjoyed the area for the many years she lived there.
