Jeffrey William Sattler

SATTLER, Jeffrey. Peacefully at home with his father by his side, Jeffrey Sattler died on July 25, 2018 in his 55th year after a long struggle with lung disease. Beloved son of John Sattler and Elizabeth (deceased). Dear brother of Peggy (Neil) and Deborah (James). Much loved uncle of Jonathan, Madeleine, Emily, Harry and Cole. He will be sadly missed by his extended family, many friends, neighbours, customers and coworkers.

Jeffrey was a unique and caring individual. He was a good friend – always ready to go for coffee, stop for chat, and lend a helping hand. He loved his work. He was a proud to own his own lawn and snow removal business, serving his loyal customers for decades. For 40 years, he never missed a day of work at Redland Brow landfill, and would be thrilled to know he now has a tractor dedicated in his name. He remained optimistic right to the end.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30 from 7-9 pm and a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, July 31 at 2 pm followed by a reception at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 195 King St W, Dundas, ON L9H 1V5. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff’s memory to the Lung Association or the Hamilton SPCA would be appreciated. On-line condolences can be made to www.marlattfhdundas.com
