My deepest condolences go out to John's family and friends. He was always able to make me laugh in class and had incredible things to say. A great mind. A great loss.

John, Jenny & family.  We were extremely saddened to hear this news.  Our thoughts go out to you as you attempt to rebuild your lives.  We have many fond memories of Jack at the cottage, frog catching, fishing off the dock or looking for Lucie or Jake.  Condolences.

We are all, in the Department of English and Cultural Studies, deeply saddened by the loss of John. He was a keen student, and a great lover of literature. We miss him.

I just learned of John's passing, and offer my heartfelt condolences to all of his family and friends. I remember "Jack" in my grade 5 class, always with a smile on his face and quick with a joke. He was one of those students who made me enjoy my job. You are in my prayers John. Godspeed.

I was so sorry to learn of John's passing. I was his instructor in Modern British Literature this year and remember him as an exceptionally  thoughtful student, one who was always excited and prepared to discuss novels, poetry, and more. These qualities made him a real treasure to have in the class -- a true gem. John will be very much missed by all of us here at Mac. Sending my sincerest condolences and kind regards to all of John's family and friends.

Jack was in my Kindergarten class and I remember him with great affection.  He always had a twinkle in his eye and jumped in to everything with gusto, displaying a great spirit of curiosity and fun.  Jack's caring, sensitive nature endeared him to the other children and his creative side produced many colourful projects!!.  I hold Jack & his family close in my heart and hope that you are gentle with yourselves as you heal your broken hearts.

I could never express how sad I am for you and your family.  I remember seeing you after one of your cottage trips and you telling me all about the great night you had staying up late with Jack.  You are such a wonderful sister.  Your face always lights up when you talk about being Jenna and Jack's big sister.  I only hope that some day you can find peace and comfort in his memory.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Jack but I have heard alot about him and know we was a wonderful, sweet person.  He will be missed by the many people's lives he has touched. I did not have the pleasure of knowing 'Jack' in person.  I knew him only through the delightful stories Jessica would share about her loving Family. For the last 6 years you always put a smile on my face. On the first day of grade 9 you were one of the first people I met, sitting beside you everyday in our gr9 science class was the only thing that helped me survive that class. I wont forget all the times I spent with you at marys and at mcmaster. I'm gunna miss you everyday John. My prayers go out to your family.

John was a fine young man, an intelligent student, and a kind friend to his fellow undergrads at McMaster. He was in the American Literature tutorial I currently lead. It breaks my heart to learn of his passing. He's remembered fondly, as a thoughtful and soft-spoken friend.

I never knew John personally, but had seen him in high school. I wish i had gotten to know him.He seemed like such a sweet guy.

John, when I came to St. Mary for my post-grad year, I didn't know many people. I will always remember my first day. I remember introducing myself to you. You were a very kind person, with a great sense of humour.
