Suddenly on Friday, January 22, 2016. Much loved wife of Mark, loving mother to her daughter Mary and her son Richard. Loved daughter of Salvatore and Maria Cannella, and daughter in law to Mary (Mike) Gushie. Survived by her sister Josephine (Scott), Sam Jr. (Selena), and Lina (Gord), Lidia will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses who looked after Lidia as she battled M.S. over the years, and especially all the staff at Helen House for their care, compassion and love they showed Lidia over the years, she could not have received better care. A Funeral Mass will be held at Canadian Martyrs Parish, 38 Emerson Street, Hamilton on Tuesday, January 26th at 10am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster.
