It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary O’Donnell at the age of 93. Mary will be missed by her children Margaret (Brian), John, Stephen (Louise), and her siblings Jeanette Posner (Kurt), Ched (Mary) and Iain (Nan). Mary will be missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her husband Cornelius, her children Colin and Anne, and her sister Margaret Burgoin.
A special thank you to the health care team at St. Joseph’s Villa, 2E ward, for their exceptional care and compassion throughout Mary’s time there.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Joseph’s Villa.
Visitation will be held at Marlatt funeral home, “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas, on Thursday August 29th from 10:00am-12:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel following at 12:00pm. Private family interment to follow.
