There are no words to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss.

Mel was a constant cheerful presence that was always there to listen on our bad days and laugh with us on our good ones. Mel was a role model to me; she always stayed positive, she cared enough to get involved and speak up when she saw somebody getting the short end of the stick, she knew when to give us one of her famous hugs and when to give us a little tough love. Mel defined good spirit, and she defined community. She was the glue that held our store together, and she will be forever missed at 3127.

You have touched all our lives Mel in such a special way. We will never forget you my friend. You made a day at work brighter just by being you. I will miss you so very much. Sharon if you need anything your Wal mart family is there for you... always

Sharon, there aren't enough words to express everything I feel for you and Mel. I wish I could have spent more time with the both of you. I appreciate everything you and Mel have given to me and my family, from gifts to words of wisdom. Please know that everyone here at work is thinking about you, everyday. I hope all of your good memories with Mel stay as bright as you are.

Mel was the warmest, most caring, understanding and fun person anyone could have ever asked to work with.  I have had the absolute pleasure of doing so for the past few years in the claims department.  We will keep her in our hearts and memories.  She will be missed.  <3

Mel made everyone feel like they were the most important thing in Her life at that moment.  She cared about everything and everyone without reserve.  She lead by example without knowing She did so!

Dear Sharon, I am so sorry for your loss.  I met Melody at McMaster University in the 80's, and we had some philosophy classes together. Mel was funny, super smart, and kind. I had a terrible loss just before our graduation,and Melody took me under her wing on that day and was so kind and supportive.  I have lovely memories of Melody.  You and your family, and Melody, are in my thoughts.

Sharon,my deepest condolences for your loss.  I have known mel when we worked together at woolco and then Walmart.  Her willingness to stop and take the time for a chat or even a shoulder to lean on that was Mel and that smile of hers just made your day better. I loved when she would say I have a short story and we all knew it was going to be a long one. But that was okay because Mel had the best stories.  It will be hard to walk past her office and not forget the first time I brought my new puppy Scottie in to meet her,the camera came out and I think that was the first picture on the pet wall of fame. My condolences to you Sharon and Mel's family. I had the pleasure of working with her for the past 6 years. When I walked by her office, I use to call her Melly, she replied with a smile and say hey. I loved her vacation stores as we visited some of the same places. She had a kind heart, a sense of humor, and a great personality. I cant imagine our lives without her. She will be very sadly missed.

Mel was such a funny great woman and I will miss hearing her stories and laughter whenever she came into the office. Mel was a very kind and loving soul. I will miss our daily check ins.. Our quick catch ups where she would always teach me something new about herself and the truly amazing person that she was. My deepest sympathies to you, Sharon and all of Melody's family.  Words could never express how I feel today.  I worked with Mel for just over two years.  In that brief time, amongst the craziness of WalMart life, Mel became very special to me.  What a wonderful, sincere, kind and gentle person she was.  During tragic personal issues in my life, she was a go to for a comforting hug and knowing smile. A good chuckle too, right when I needed it.  I will never forget her.  She made sure of that when she gave me an angel called just that...."forget me not".  I wonder if she knew how much that meant to me and that I never would.  I left WalMart last April.
