Dundas, Ontario - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Micheline, at the exact age of 87, in Hamilton, Ontario. She will be deeply missed by her children, Deirdre, Patrick (Caroline) and Michael (Angela), grandchildren, Sammie, Trisha, Jackie, Tanner, Ben, Elliot, and James, and her sister, Manon (Gerard) and other family members in Quebec.
Mom was a bright, busy, active person, avid craftswoman, self-taught in many different fields. She spent over 20 years working for Dr. K. Shankardass in downtown Dundas and was well known to many members of the community.
Her family was her greatest joy and right up to her final days she absolutely lit up when she saw any of us.
Thanks to the staff at Amica who were always wonderful, and so glad to help mom as she needed more assistance.
Deep thanks to the staff at St. Peter's Hospital who showed such care and compassion to mom and all of us.
Funeral will be held at St. Augustine's Church in Dundas on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Society or St. Peter's Hospital.
