Michelle is one of the most beautiful human beings I have had the pleasure of getting to know through sport.  Michelle allowed me to be a small part of her wrestling success in my first few years working at Brock University (2016-2019). It became clear to me that Michelle was a leader who placed the health and well being of her teammates as a priority throughout her storied career!.  Brock Wrestling, Wrestling Canada, Brock University, the Greater Niagara Region, and this great country of Canada was extremely fortunate to be blessed with Michelle's presence and as an advocate for the sport of wrestling. Michelle was a gift to all who had the pleasure of getting to know and be around her. Although her time on earth was far too short - heaven has gained an angel and a true warrior! My heartfelt condolences to Cedric and Michelle's family; so very sorry for your loss.  I had the privilege of getting to know Michelle while treating her injuries at the Brock Sports Medicine Clinic.  I enjoyed the time we spent together very much.  Such a beautiful person who brightened everyone's day, and so many had the opportunity to see and experience that.  I feel blessed to have known her.

This is an older picture of the two of us. I had already known Michelle a while but this was one of my first wrestling trips as a varsity team member rather than a club member.(it was a training camp in Mexico) I was so nervous. But Michelle always had a way of making everyone feel so special and loved that my nerves melted away. This has ALWAYS been one of my favourite photos. She just radiated love. She is and will always be the sweetest and most inspiring souls I have  ever met.
