Passed away in her 80th year on April 28, 2019 at St. Joseph's Villa in Dundas. Reunited at long last with the love of her life, husband Eddie (Edwin). Predeceased by her dear sister Bobbie Goodale (Dave) and parents, James and Elizabeth Allison. Admired and loved mother of Michael, Sandra and Gary. Loving sister of Virginia Wairegi (Tom) and Judy Stubbs (Gary).
Pat began her career as a school teacher then after marriage helped Ed in the operation of their new business, Lee's Take Out restaurant. She continued to teach in Gananoque, then after returning to Dundas, became part owner of Gray's Florist. Pat loved travel, music and the arts. A kind and generous woman, she cared greatly for the well being of others and contributed through her decades of volunteer work which began with the Figure Skating Club in Gananoque and progressed to literacy coaching, teaching English as a second language, preparing income tax returns and finally, her role on the Resident Council at the Villa. Pat deeply valued her life long friendships and especially cherished close friends Susan Bowinkelmann and Barbara Smith. She was grateful to have enjoyed many travel adventures. She enjoyed cards, puzzles and games of skill and luck. Pat remained optimistic and never lost her sense of humour despite the many health challenges she faced.
