Robert Peters

Passed peacefully surrounded by family on November 25, 2017 in his 77th year. Predeceased by his parents Archie and Marion. Loved dearly by his wife Debbie; children Doug, Connie (Mike), Crystal (Todd Buchanan), David (Andrea); and siblings Susan (Bill McGinley) and Bill (Yvonne). “Papa” will be missed by his eleven grandchildren Jeff, Carley, Tori, Shelby, Kenzie, Taylor, Trevor, Dylan, Trent, Riley, Troy; and great grandchildren Carter and Caitlyn. Bob will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Having proudly served a 36 year long career as the last Fire Chief of Dundas, Bob touched many in the town he loved and was grateful for all his friendships. All family members want to extend a special thanks to the medical team at St. Joseph’s Health Care and the Hamilton General for their compassion and care. Following his cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Dundas Valley Legion, Branch 36 on Sunday, December 3rd from 1-5pm where Bob was a member for many years.
