Roberta Lavon Boomsma

Roberta Lavon Boomsma, a beloved resident of Dundas, Ontario, passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on February 4, 1931, Roberta was cherished by all who knew her for her generous, kind-hearted, and thoughtful nature. She was a devoted and hard-working individual, known for her honesty and many talents.

Roberta is survived by her loving husband, Peter, and her children, Linda (Jim), Kenneth (Maxine), Richard (Heather), Teresa (Paul), DeAnna, and Daniel (Tina). She was predeceased by her daughters Christine (Brett) and Michele. Roberta's legacy continues through her nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Roberta was a dedicated volunteer at the Wentworth Lodge Long Term Care Home for many years. Her commitment to her community was a testament to her caring spirit.

The family extends a special thank you to the PSWs, Joseph Brant Hospital, and St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and compassion during Roberta's final days. Her kind-hearted and thoughtful presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.

In keeping with Roberta's wishes, a private family interment will take place at a later date.
