With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Soph on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
Loving and cherished daughter of Brendalee and Antonio. Beloved sister of Isabella. Treasured granddaughter of Nonna (Louisa Candelori). Soph will be sadly missed by her aunts and uncles: Dino, Chantelle, Marfina, Victor, Anna, and Mervyn, and cousins and friends in Canada, Brazil and Italy.
Our sincere thank you and gratitude to the owners and staff at Beleva for their empathetic care and nurturing support of Sophia. Also, special thanks to Juravinski Hospital, especially Dr. Dionne and the staff in the ICU, as well as family doctor Dr. Narissa Duboff and Physician’s Assistant Melissa Holm, and all the staff at the Core Care Family Health Team.
A funeral service will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas, on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at 2 pm, with visitation from 1pm-2pm. Private family burial will be taking place.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sophia’s memory may be made to Hamilton Health Sciences.
