Susan Soley

Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Grimsby, ON. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister. She was of kind and generous spirit with a strong belief in God and had a dry sense of humor. She was predeceased by her parents Ina and Walling Tolsma, by her brother Otto Tolsma of Manitoulin Island, and by her husband Les Soley of Dundas. She has left behind her 7 children, Gertie Hoogerbrugge, Walter Voortman, Jeanette Voortman, John Voortman Jr., Ozzie Voortman, David Voortman and Cynthia Voortman, their spouses, sister-in-law Alba Tolsma, children and grandchildren, nieces, nephews great nieces, and great nephews. Thank you to Dr. Thom Zeyl and the nursing staff in the Orchards Wing of Shalom Manor in Grimsby, ON. The nursing staff and nursing assistants were great with her. A Funeral Service will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, “SWACKHAMER CHAPEL”, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 10 a.m. With Visitation starting 1 hour prior to the Service.
