Beloved husband of the late May Meldrum (nee Mills) who he lost only 6 months ago. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
A loving father to his three children, Glenn (Sylvia), Catherine (Ray) Butter and Douglas (Debbie). Dear Grandpa to Brandon, Samantha (Jesse), Kevin (Melissa), Steven (Laura), Keith (Mallorie), Alicia, and Jeffery (Jessie). And very special Great Grandpa to Emma, Jameson, Grace, Everett, Jackson, Hannah, Grady, Everley, Ryder, Scarlett, Marshall, and Amelia. He will be missed by his sister Donna, and his many nieces and nephews including those living in the USA, friends and neighbours, and many others whose lives he touched. Trevor served with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1943-1945 as a wireless air gunner. He played Water Polo for the Dominion Champions in 1947. He was among the first registered recreational SCUBA divers in Canada and taught for many years. Trevor was a life member at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum where he volunteered for 30 years. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Trevor’s Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 23rd at 3pm at West Flamborough Presbyterian Church, 262 Middletown Road, Dundas. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
