William Bill Norman Hopkins

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on April 30th in his 66th year surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Anderson) for 45 years. Dear father to Brad (Laura), and Danny. Loving papa to Andrew, Travis, and Rhyleigh. Loved son of Norman (Pearl), and the late Peggy Hopkins. Survived by his sister Cathy Quinlan (Brian), and his brother John. Special brother in law to Randy Anderson, Rob Anderson, Debbie McConnell, and Tammy Desroches, and son in law to Iva Anderson. Special friend to Phil and Anne Mowat (of London). Bill was a member of Union Local 67 Plumbers and Pipefitters for 41 years, and a member of the R.C.L. Branch 36 Dundas. His sense of humour was enjoyed by all and he filled our lives with love, joy and fond memories. He will never be forgotten. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the entire medical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “Swackhamer Chapel”, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Saturday, May 3rd at 2pm with visitation one hour prior.
