
Cynthia L. King, 55, of East Hartford, died on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Hartford Hospital after a valiant struggle with cancer. Born in Hartford on May 24, 1958, a daughter of the late Robert A. and Janet (Haynes) King, she had been a resident of East Hartford for most of her life. She was a graduate of East Hartford High School, Class of 1976 and had been employed by Alarm New England, Rocky Hill for the past several years. A talented bowler, she participated in many area leagues and earned a ""Perfect Game"" score of 300. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Kevin R. King of Colchester. Cynthia is survived by a son, Steven Fisher of East Hartford; a sister, Cheryl K. Smith and her husband, Brian, of Manchester; a sister-in-law, Suzanne King of Colchester; two nieces, Jordan Smith and Morgan Smith both of Manchester; a nephew, Ryan King of Colchester; and several friends and co-workers.
Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Cynthia's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday (July 19th) from 4-6 p.m. at the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford.
