

Jordan James Doyle, 26, of East Hartford, formerly of East Windsor and Bristol, peacefully entered into eternal rest surrounded by his caring and devoted family and friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 after a life-long illness. Born in Manchester on July 9, 1990, a loving son of Jack L. Doyle and Robin R. (Good) Doyle, he was a former resident of the East Windsor/Broad Brook area and Bristol. Jordan attended the Perkins School for the Blind in Boston, MA for elementary and middle school. He later attended and graduated from the Oak Hill School for the Blind in Hartford. Jordan was an avid and loyal fan of the New York Yankees and would often be seen wearing his Yankee apparel. He also loved movies, especially “Home Alone” and “Harry Potter”, but most of all Jordan loved his family and spending time with all of them.
Jordan is survived by his loving parents: his father, Jack L. Doyle and his wife JoAnn of Cromwell; his mother, Robin R. (Good) Doyle and her fiancée, Bob DeAngelis of Bristol; his twin sister, Ashley E. Doyle of Glastonbury; a brother, Michael R. Doyle of Bloomfield; and a nephew, Hayden Jordan Gilkey of Glastonbury. He also leaves his beloved paternal grandparents, James and Lenora (Peruccio) Jordan of East Hartford; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Joan Good of Bradenton, FL; his uncle, Anthony “Tony” Good and his wife Jennifer of Salisbury; his aunt, Linda (Jordan) Dadario and her husband Al of East Haddam; five “first cousins”, Kyle, Allyson, and Landon Good of Salisbury, Emily and Antonio Dadario of East Haddam; many other thoughtful aunts, uncles, and cousins in Tennessee and Connecticut; and several dear friends.
Funeral service will be Wednesday (December 28th) with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Peace Church, May Road/Brandon Road, East Hartford. (The family asks that everyone please go directly to the church on Wednesday morning). Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Jordan’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday (December 27th) from 4-7 pm at the D’Esopo-East Harford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford.
