

Lauria Pauline (Loiseau) Blais, 103, of East Hartford, beloved wife for 25 years of the late Joseph Emile Blais, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020. Born in Southbridge, MA on July 22, 1916, a daughter of the late Napoleon Loiseau and Marianna (Parent) Loiseau, she had been a resident of East Hartford since 1952. She worked for the State of CT- Department of Motor Vehicles for many years. Lauria enjoyed traveling in the U.S. as well as abroad. She loved shopping, playing cards and dancing. The joy of her life was spending time with her family and friends, who meant everything to her.
A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lauria will be dearly missed by her two loving daughters; Patricia Albert and her husband Leonard of Ormand Beach, FL and Janet Hobby and her husband David of South Windsor; four adored grandchildren; Laurie Valente and her husband Robert of East Windsor, Neal Albert of Palm Coast, FL, Jennifer Brame and her husband Jeremy of Glastonbury, and Cheryl Kotulak of Amesbury, MA; and four cherished great-grandchildren, Juliana and Carly Valente of East Windsor, Maranda Brame of Glastonbury and Jack Kotulak of Amesbury, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current health crisis, funeral services and burial in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
