

Louise J. (Napolitano) Agnes, 76, of Bolton, beloved wife of 56 years to Mario Agnes, peacefully entered into eternal life on Wednesday, (April 6, 2011) with her loving family by her side at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Sharon on Jan. 30, 1935, a daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Calabro) Napolitano, she had resided in South Windsor for 10 years before moving to Bolton in 1974. She was a former hair stylist in Enfield for several years prior to entering the banking industry, where she retired from in 1996 after 20 years of loyal service in the Greater Hartford area. A talented knitter, she made various clothing items for her family and friends. Louise was an avid reader and cook, who enjoyed cooking at all times for her family. Most of all, Louise was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother who was dedicated to caring for her family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her two brothers, Charles J. Napolitano of East Hartford and Michael A. Napolitano of Vernon. Along with her devoted husband, Mario, Louise is survived by two daughters, Maria L. Gallo and her husband, Michael, of East Hartford, Lori A. Paggioli and her husband, Thomas, of Bolton; two sons, Michael A. Agnes and his wife, Hellena, of Wethersfield, Mark W. Agnes and his wife, Dawn, of Amsterdam, NY; a sister, Jenny Contois and her husband, Frank, of Colchester; nine adored grandchildren, Lisa M. Johanns and her husband, Fred, Debora A. Gallo, Kyle T. Paggioli, Erika M. Paggioli, Jennifer M. Agnes, Kimberly A. Agnes, Michael M. Agnes, Emma R. Agnes, and Annie E. Agnes; one darling great-granddaughter, Alexa R. Johanns; a special niece, Amy E. Farrior and her husband, Andrew; several other nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 9 with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Christopher Church, East Hartford. (Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church on Saturday morning). Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
