Mitchell Anthony Gabron, 51, of Belchertown, MA, and formerly East Hartford, beloved father of Savannah Gabron and son of Mitchell “Mike” and Jean (Shetensky) Gabron of East Hartford, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Born in Hartford on November 28, 1964, Mitch grew up in East Hartford, playing midget football, Farm League and Little League baseball. He was a graduate of Penney High School. He enjoyed many father-son camping and fishing trips. Mitch was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants his whole life. However, the light of his life was his daughter Savannah. In addition to his daughter and parents, he will be dearly missed by his brother, John Gabron; his sister, Jodi Gabron; his grandmother, Sophie Gabron; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his companion Linda, as well as his canine buddy, Luke.
Funeral services are private and there are no calling hours. The D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
