I met Wilson several years ago at our Saturday morning Men's Prayer Breakfast in Wethersfield. Even though neither of us was from Wethersfield, somehow we were drawn there, and made a connection. We came to find out that we lived 1 street over from each other in East Hartford. 
 Wilson would always make it a point to stop and chat whenever he caught me out in the yard as he was passing by. We'd share about life for a bit, and he always left me with a smile on my heart. Then there were the times I'd hear a little Toot Toot outside and upon checking, I'd see his car headed up the street, and even without talking he managed to make me smile. That's the man I came to know and respect, and will always be grateful for it. God Bless you My Brother, and rest easy. Until we meet again, your friend always, Dave Fabas.

With everyone else, I can also say, thank God for the life and ministry of Wilson Leonard, a beloved brother in Jesus and one graced with the beautiful presence of Christ which shined throughout his entire life. I have met few people as kind and as generous in spirit as Wilson. An arm around the shoulder, a kind and open hearted word, a hug, his beautiful smile, that is how Wilson always greeted me. 

His commitment to the life and ministry of New Covenant United Methodist Church was unshakable, and oh, what a ministry he lived out in his church community with the music program and in the various leadership roles he embodied both in his formal responsibilities and as the great reconciler who had that unique gift of bringing people together even in the midst of conflict. It is no exaggeration to say that Leonard Wilson was a churchman of the very finest order, one who lived the exemplary life in the best traditions of the Methodist faith.

Wilson—and I know you are listening to us—thank you for who you are and who you continue to be as you enter into your well-deserved, eternal glory. I cannot even begin to say how blessed I have been to have shared some treasured moments with you over the years.

My Wilt was big on family always giving hugs ,and kisses calling you sweet names,calling to check on me and my family rest in peace  he was one of a kind , I know your smiling resting in the arms of our heavenly father .I am truly going to miss you Uncle Wilt. Praise God! I always said with my brother Wilson!  What a blessing this man has been here on this earth!  Every person who ever met him and spent a few minutes speaking with him knew he was a great man, and I'll bet he is with Jesus who said "well done, good and faithful servant!"  I will miss him here now, but I know he is with our heavenly father!  I continue to pray that all his loved one will feel the arms of our heavenly father wrapping around them with his Love, peace, grace and joy.  Praising God for Wilson's gift of friendship! 

TO MY BROTHER WILT I AM THE OLDEST BUT YOU ARE MY OLDEST BRO I HAVE SOMANY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES GROWING UP TOGETHER AS SIBLINGS  ONE TIME YOU TRIED TO SAVE A SONG ON THE RADIO FOR Me THINKING  THAT I WOULD LIKE IT AND IT STAY ON THE RADIO 📻 UNTIL I GOT HOME. Love is shown by actions .,And my uncle Wilt showed me that in every way . The memories i have as a child and now as an Adult will never fade . He loved unconditionally all of his family . 
I will hold on to that forever till we meet again.

My Uncle Wilt you have been such a great inspiration to my life as a little girl    as an adult ,I have so many fond memories to hold on to , I especially thank you for taking me under your wings so that I could attend school in Conneticut back in lthe late 70`s helping me study picking me up at the bus stop so I didn't  have to walk home . The time when I was so sick how you saved my life I thank God that you were there for me. I will miss our laughs,calls sending you The Daily Devotions every month our talks about praising and worshiping the goodness of God and All his marvelous works.I know the Master said well done well done my good and faithful servant.Rest in peace Unle Wilt love you So much. Not only was he my brother, he was my friend . We share many childhood memories. We also served in the Military at the same time. Our visits while serving in Germany. He was a man of God and I Loved our conversations on religion. He was very dedicated to his  family and his job. He will be missed and I will not say good bye but see you later. Love you my brother.

This Angel is my older brother I love this guy with everything in me and I can go on and on kind hearted family oriented he will be missed the phone calls our talks just hearing your voice rest in heaven big guy love you for life.

My dear beloved brother Wilson. You were more than a brother to me than my own flesh and blood. You were a brother in Christ and now you are with Christ. You have deserved this peace that you’re going to receive with eternal  life.   We shared many laughs together and had a tremendous respect for each other which taught my heart several things. I look forward to seeing you in the future with both of us healthy and happy and singing praises to her only one glorious  God.May Angie and your family  have much peace and health and love and comfort that God can give anyone. Wilson was a very kind man and true  Christian.  You can feel confident that he now sits on the right hand of Jesus. I will miss him.

Wilson is a remarkable man, friend, and faithful Brother in Christ Jesus, our Lord.  There is something really special about him; I think it is the Holy Spirit of God who is seen and heard whenever Wison shared with all of us at the Men's Prayer Breakfast at First Church in Wethersfield.  We have been blessed in being close to Wilson, and in days to come, he will be missed.  We love ya Wilson, as Jesus loves all of us.  

Great Christian and humanitarian,  I will miss him

Wilson and I were acquaintences thru our work.  I met Wilsin in the 1960s and knew him at ACE until the pandemic started.  Wilson was an absoplutely fine person and it hurts to hear of his passing.  He will aways be missed but will remein in a special place in my heart.
