My thoughts and prayers are with my Aunt Alice's family at this difficult time. She touched many people throughout her life. I remember when my father had his heart attach and Aunt Alice and my cousin Jimmy came down from Minnesota to make sure that he was ok. She went out of her way for my dad and I will never forget how happy he was to see his sister and nephew. I will really miss getting Aunt Alice's Christmas photo card this year. I know that she will be dearly missed by myself and many people. Heather Meyer Price & Family.

 This was he eulogy at Alices's Rosary:
Knowing and interacting with Alice you would never imagine how difficult her early life was because she described it with such love and enthusiasm.  She learned to be a tough and independent young woman because of her dad’s illness although she never lost her feminine side. This played well for her as a young bride and then mother at the end of World War II when with two young sons she followed her husband to Japan. This trip ended in great tragedy for the Brissons with the loss of their second son from leukemia. Then began their 5 year adventure in San Francisco where 4 children were added to the family. I loved visiting SF with her and imagining the city in the 1950’s. She bounced between Warroad MN and El Paso Texas after that ….these years included the birth of a baby daughter and her death at 2.  She finally adopted El Paso as her home, for which I and everyone here is forever grateful. 
Alice’s impact stretched much further than her family. She and Al adopted everyone her children brought home plus individuals that they met at work, church or in the community.  I think we have two brothers-in-law that she thought needed feeding.  I had never met a man like Al, that so willingly shared stories about his great love for his wife and they were not sappy but funny and sad too.  The two lessons Alice really harped on were education and treating everyone equally.  She worried so much about visiting everyone for exactly 2 weeks so none of us felt cheated and everyone got the same check for their birthdays. It seemed like so much work although the end result is that she raised generous and connected children. 

Please share with us your memories of Alice after the burial at her home. She would not have wanted a long drawn out stories about her accompanied by lots of tears here at the podium. She was a really a no frills kin’da person and oh so frugal.  Before she died we were planning her homecoming; we just didn’t know it was going to be with Al, Jerry, Tommy, Laura Lee and Alexis.

YOUR MOM WAS ONE OF THE SWEETEST LADIES,IN THE WORLD. I REMEMBER HER FINDING ME ASLEEP IN THE BACK YARD WHEN I WAS A KID, AND TOLD ME TO GET INSIDE, AND SLEEP IN A BED...THE NEXT DAY I WAS VERY ILL, AND SHE TOOK ME TO THE HOSPITAL..WHERE I SPENT THE NEXT WEEK...I WISH I WOULD HAVE STOPPED BY TO SEE HER BEFORE SHE PASSED...GOD BLESS HER, AND KEEP HER,...AND MAY ALL YOUR FAMILY FIND STRENGTH, COURAGE, AND FAITH THROUGH ALL THIS...SHE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL....>DAN COCHRAN<

Jim we had a class together at Community College. Anthropology I think, and you invited me to lunch at your house. Your Mom had lunch ready, that was so sweet of her. And that I will never forget. "Alice", she's a sister with a big heart and great concern for the family".I will never forget , year 2002 , I had my heart surgery and Alice took pains drove to Chicago to visit me.I was happy and thankful ,she was there for me.. "She's a sister to be proud of .And she,s one among in the family who had such a great life and  a wonderful family.  Alice, I will miss seeing you at Warroad ,Minnesota , where we always meet each other.But you will always be remembered for all those wonderful memories .          Brother Leonard Meyer        .

Alice is always been a good sister to me.It means a lot to have a sister  like her.It reminds me of times when she goes to Warroad and Rocky Point , Minnesota she never missed stopping by  at my house  to see and talk to me, and on any occassions,she never miss sendin me cards, never miss giving a phone call to know how am I doin.That's how  thoughtful my sister Alice is!She will always be remembered and will missed her especially her love for the  Meyer family. Alice was a wonderful lady. She was fun to have at our families graduations and weddings. We will miss seeing her. You all have our deepest sympathy's.

Remembering Alice Brisson and family.  I spent many Sunday afternoons at the Brisson  home in Fort Bliss during 1958, 1959, and 1960. In the fall of 1948 Alice spent a month or two on the farm helping my mother (a new widow) tend to her 5 young children.  I was one of those children. I know that Alice and Alex are now back together in Heaven talking about Letterman Army Hospital, Camp McCoy, the CCC camps, and of course their precious family.
