Momma I miss you so much, I just want to hear your voice one more time, but that would lead to wanting another one. I am trying to make the best of making you proud of me I love and miss you so much


I can no longer speak to my little sister, hear her voice, see her face or feel the warmth her embrace. When a loved one passes on, you have to find another way to feel their presence in your heart.  So, I will  talk to the wind and let it carry my thoughts to her. Listen for her answer when a Mockingbird is sitting on a power pole singing, chirping crickets in the night, or a croaking frog by the water tank.  Send her a hug with flowing water of a stream or river.    Feel the warmth of her arms on a sun filled spring day. Look for her artwork in the clouds that is hung in the sky. Listen to the laughter as I watch a field of wheat dance to the wind.  Hear her call with the whistle of a train in the distance. Take a stroll with her on a path in the woods and feel the peace of God.

Alice I only meet you once but in that one meeting you touched my heart. We bonded forever. I will miss late night Facebook talks and just you way of making someone feel like they mattered when they did not feel it. Fly high and know you are missed

I know that you never met me...but I do know your daughter, and she is a truly amazing woman....I will do my best to continue to be there for her...and to help her through this....may you R.I.P...and my deepest sympathies and condolences to all the people whose lives you have touched
