Benedita V. Vega Terrazas

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 PM with prayer service at 7:00 PM on January 13, 2016 at Del Angel Martin Central at 3829 Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas 79903

Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church located at 2709 Alabama St., El Paso, Texas 79930. Del Angel Martin Central is handling funeral arrangements.

Benedita was born in San Juan, New Mexico on March 21, 1919 and attended public school in Grant County, New Mexico.

Benedita was married to Lorenzo A. Terrazas on July 16, 1943; they were married 32 wonderful years.

Benedita worked in Food Services with El Paso Independent School District (Houston Elem.) for 13 years.

She enjoyed gardening, attending to her pets and spending time with her family; she was loved by many. Benedita is survived by her daughters Irma Estella Terrazas and Benita Emma Terrazas; grandchildren, Blanca and Carlos Gaspar de Alba, Michelle Wright, Karla Walls, Trey Cardwell, Emily (Vibert) Olvera, Paula and Paul Vibert, Dillon and Dionne Perry, 16 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Benedita is preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Petra Vega, her husband Lorenzo Terrazas, her daughter Maria Luisa Perry and her brothers Benito and Alberto Vega.

Pall Bearers will be Carlos Gaspar de Alba, Dillon Perry, Paul Vibert, Fray A. Nuñez, Fray R. Nuñez, Richard Irizarry and Adrian Navarro.
