Brenda Lee Long

November 25, 1957-April 4, 2026

Born on November 25, 1957, Brenda L. Long peacefully passed away on April 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was centered around faith in Jehovah, family, and simple joys. Over the past three years, she courageously fought and faced the challenges of a rare lung disease (MAC), and more recently, a diagnosis of Parkinson's, with strength and grace.

She found her greatest happiness in spending time with her family, cooking meals that brought everyone together, tending to her garden, fishing and camping, and embracing her role as a loving grandmother. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she found deep purpose in preaching the good news to others.

She now rests in peace, awaiting the fulfillment of the promise found in John 5:28: "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will be resurrected."

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary A. Horack and James W. Horack, and her brothers, Jim and Rick Horack.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Dale E. Long; her children Ami and Joey Grummert, Ashley and David Bailey, Alexandra Corn, and Brian and Dalton Lamczyk; and her cherished grandchildren, Tavianna, Audrey, Gabriella, and Xander.

She is also survived by her siblings: Debbie Schlack and husband Dave; sister-in-law Kathy Horack; Linda Walters and husband Mark; and sister-in-law Bridget; along with many nieces and nephews Christina and Jonathon, Jason, Bart, Brody, Mark, Scott, Jennifer, Angela, Joshua, Zachary-and may relatives and friends near and far.

Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will live in all who knew her.
