Carmen L. Rodriguez

RODRIGUEZ Carmen L. Rodriguez, 75, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 18, 1935 in San Bernardo, Durango, Mexico and was a resident of El Paso, Texas for 50 years. She was survived by her loving daughters Rosa Linda Alarcon, Aizza Chavez, Patricia Lucy Loya, Gina Rodriguez-Nunez, son-in-laws Luis Loya and Rafael Nunez, cherished grandchildren Gabriel Alarcon, Vanessa Chavez, Salvador Alarcon, Aizza Traylaina Chavez, Erika Chavez, Linda Janice Alarcon, Carlos Chavez, Alejandro Loya, Luis Alberto Loya, Ilissa Nunez, Estevan Nunez, and Joaquin Nunez, and great grandchildren Salvador J. & Orlando Alarcon and Isaiah & Noah Hernandez. Brother, Ignacio Lopez and many adored nephews and nieces. Mrs. Rodriguez's visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Del Angel Martin Funeral Home, 3839 Montana Ave. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Fr. Rick Matty officiating. Pallbearers: Luis Loya, Rafael Nunez, Gabriel and Salvador Alarcon, Carlos Chavez, Alejandro Loya. Honorary pallbearers: Luis Alberto Loya, Estevan and Joaquin Nunez. Burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery following mass. She was a devoted and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Her presence was a blessing to many, she will be missed profoundly. May she rest in peace in God's glory and next to her dear loving husband "Chava".
