It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Clara Jane Carson Blancas, who departed this life peacefully on May 27 at the age of 93.
Clara was a pillar of strength, compassion, and unwavering love. She was deeply cherished by her late husband, Juan Blancas Jr, who preceded her in death and with whom she shared a beautiful life. Clara dedicated herself to her family, embracing life fully and finding joy in every moment. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone who entered her home.
Her home was more than a house—it was a refuge and a place of gathering. She opened her doors to countless family members over the years, creating a strong foundation of love, unity, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Clara leaves behind a profound legacy through her children: Norma J. Munoz, Martha Helen Blancas Perez and Clara Rebecca Blancas Huerta. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Stephanie I. Perez, Victoria E Harris, Olivia L. Wallace, Melissa V. Munoz, Raymond J. Huerta, Vanessa Rhea Huerta, and 12 great-grandchildren who will forever carry her spirit with them.
Visitation for family and close friends will be held on Wednesday, June 4th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary at 6:30 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will be Thursday, June 5th at 8:30 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church 1050 N Clark Dr, El Paso, TX 79905; with interment to follow at 10 am in Fort Bliss National Cemetery 5200 Fred Wilson Blvd El Paso, TX 79906.
