Daniel Victor McGuire leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and kindness as both a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus and a loving father and husband. He worked tirelessly to aid every life he touched by giving his time and effort to all. He took pride in helping others whether by helping with church fundraisers, as a source of inspiration and wisdom, aiding his mother and sister whom we lost so recently, serving the jewelery retail community for 44 years, or simply by telling a corny joke to make you laugh. He goes now to join his mother and father, Emma and Raul McGuire as well as his sister Sylvia McGuire to his rightful place in Christ's kingdom. He is survived by Linda McGuire his wife and Aaron McGuire his son, also his brother David McGuire and his nephews Brian McGuire, Adam McGuire and Mark McGuire. His legacy lives on as we look back on the example of his life. To take enjoyment from the simple things in life. To give of yourself as the greatest gift you can give. To love unconditionally. To embrace every moment with an open heart and an open mind. Visitation is 5pm to 9pm Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Martin Central Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11am at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church with interment at Restlawn Memorial Park.
