

Edward was a devoted father, loving brother, and valued member of his community. He graduated from El Paso High School in 1999 and later earned his Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Grand Canyon University in 2024, reflecting his commitment to helping others and improving his community.
Edward took great pride in providing affordable rental homes, believing strongly in helping people in his community have access to safe and dependable housing. he was also active in attending city council meetings, where he advocated for improvements and opportunities that would benefit the residents of El Paso.
He loved the outdoors and could often be found walking his beloved dogs, Max and Charlie, around Memorial Park. Edward enjoyed hiking, fishing, and simply spending time outside exploring the world. He also had a passion for muscle cars and trucks. Known for his kind spirit, Edward made a habit of thanking people he saw working and taking time to get to know those in his neighborhood.
Edward was preceded in death by his father and mother, Hector and Bertha Correa, and his brother Javier Correa.
He is survived by his loving daughter Camille Correa, His brother Mark Correa, and his sisters, Lorrie Duarte, Evelinda Johnson, and Laura Correa.
Edward will be deeply missed by his family, friends, neighbors and the many people whose lives he touched throughout the El Paso community. His kindness, dedication, and generosity, will be remembered by all who knew him.
Visitation will be Thursday April, 2, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a memorial service at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903.
