

Elisa Muela, native El Pasoan, passed away peacefully June 12, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents, Marcos and Catalina Carrasco, her husband, Baltazar Muela, and her brother David. Survived by her sisters, Socorro Medina, Frances Salinas, Maria Elena Carrasco, and Lydia Ontiveros (Manny), and brothers, Tony and Eddie Carrasco (Ofelia). Also, nephews, Albert (Martha), Leo, Michael (Yolie), and Alfredo (Martha), and nieces, Lisa (Lenny) and Melissa (Julio). Great nephews and nieces, Venessa (Tony), Alberta, Marisa (Ruben), Marcos Antonio, Max, Glory, Alexis, and Matthew, and great-great nephew Sebastian. Also several nephews and nieces in California, and several Godchildren.
As the eldest child, Elisa always felt the need to ensure her siblings were taken care of, and did her best to accomplish that. May God bless her with eternal peace. The family is grateful to the staff and residents at Sun Ridge at Palisades, her various doctors, and Hospice of El Paso staff for their help and kindness
Visitation will be Sunday, June 21, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at F.D.A. Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana, with Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be on Monday, June 22 2015, at 1 p.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Honorary pallbearer, Tony Carrasco.
