His final moments were spent at his home on Jefferson Street surrounded by loved ones, and his treasured German Shepherd, Buddy Holguin.
Fernie is survived by his siblings, Robert Holguin, Gilbert Holguin Jr, Jose Holguin, and Ramon Holguin sisters, Martha H Padilla, Gracie Holguin, and Lucy Holguin along with countless nieces and nephews.
Fernie is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Gilberto Holguin(Tata) and Luisa Holguin(Ama) brothers, Jaime Holguin, Luis Holguin, and Sergio Holguin.
We love you, big brother with all our heart you will be missed and remembered fondly as the families backbone we will hold you close to our hearts until the day we are again reunited, Familia Holguin.

A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama St, El Paso, Texas 79930. A graveside will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, Texas 79906.
