Fidel Gomez

MSGT Fidel Gomez, Sr., 84, passed away on 16 January 2023. He served proudly and honorably in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, with tours to Vietnam, and received medals for his accomplishments while serving in the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his son Fidel Gomez, Jr. Fidel is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ana Maria Gomez, daughters MaryAnn Pharris, Sylvia Gomez, and Elizabeth Campbell. Visitation for Fidel will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM with a vigil at 4:30PM at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903. Funeral mass will be Thursday, February 2nd at 11:30AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd, El Paso, TX 79925 with interment to follow in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906 with military honors.
