Frances Dolores Cisneros

Frances Dolores Cisneros, 61, born on November 26, 1948 in Santa Maria, CA passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010. Became a lifelong resident of El Paso, TX at the age of 2. Beloved wife and mother and was devoted to her family and was a faithful member of the Catholic Church. She was a student at Ysleta, El Paso High schools, EPCC and completed higher education at SWCC. She was a dedicated employee at El Com for 15+ years. She battled Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) for 2 years. She is survived by her husband, Manuel J. Cisneros (Sun Metro Lift retiree), daughters, Virginia D. Cisneros and Lauren D. Cisneros, grandson Matthew J. Saenz, mother Patricia Rivera Cortinas, father Francisco Cortinas, sister Joann Rodarte and brother Raymond F. Cortinas. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Stacey Cisneros. She was and continues to be a positive inspiration to numerous family members and friends and will be missed immensely. She filled us with love and hope and taught us many valuable lessons in life. We thank God for blessing us all with her benevolent heart, her beautiful smile and tremendous strength. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 9, 2010, 5-9 pm with Rosary service at 7:30 pm at Martin Funeral Central, 3839 Montana Ave. 79903. Funeral mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church Wed., March 10, 2010 at 1:15 pm, officiated by Deacon Jim. Burial to follow at Fort Bliss Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Aguirre, Richard Rodarte, Alfredo Mireles, Joe Mireles, Richard Cortinas, and Ray Rivas. Honorary Pallbearers are Roland Cisneros and Rudy Romero.
