Frank was a unique man full of life, love, knowledge, and ambition. He was a successful man; successful as a father, a friend, a life advisor, and as a light to us all. Frank was an amazing man with a generous heart who not only fathered his own, but offered his hand to those who needed help or guidance. He lit up rooms and spirits with his unforgettable grin and distinguished laugh. Chavez means “keymaker” which is fitting for a man who held the master key to the hearts of those who knew him well, no matter how damaged the lock. Frank was a relentless worker, but made sure he played just as relentlessly. As an adventurous man he truly lived in a way and to a degree that most cannot. He brought smiles and laughs to his friends, his family, and his associates with the kind of humor only he could get away with. He is lost, but not forgotten. He was a hero to his children and an inspirational character to us all. He is missed dearly but we should smile because he is watching over us, still protecting us. He is at peace, and for those of us who knew him well, that is all we want for him. Visitation will be Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central.
