

Grace Elizabeth Fletcher Orellana, 85, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2010. She was born on August 5, 1924 in El Paso. Grace graduated from Beall Elementary School where she was chosen school queen, El Paso High School where she was Miss Posture, and International Business College after which she was employed by James A. Dick and Company. She belonged to the El Paso Skeet and Trap Club and the Alta Vista School PTA where she served as Vice-President and room mother for both of her children. Her sewing skills were greatly admired and she was also a passionate reader. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Edward A. Orellana, Sr., her parents George E. and Vicenta Martinez Fletcher and her sisters Lydia Margaret Cuilty and Mary Alma Duke. The three sisters were affectionately known as "The Fletcher Girls." Grace is survived by daughter, Georgina G. Lowenberg of El Paso, son, Edward A. Orellana, Jr. of Marshfield, MA., and granddaughter, Jennifer A. Lowenberg of New Boston, MI. Her family would like to thank Dr. Christine Hernandez and staff, Physicians Hospital and staff, Always Caring Home Care Services, George Hernandez and Irene Saucedo. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Martin Funeral Home Central with graveside services on May 26, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
