Ignacio lived a full and spirited life. During his high school years, he was both an athlete and a musician—playing football and performing as a talented saxophonist in the school band. His passion for music continued after high school as a member of the band The Blue Diamonds. Ignacio was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He shared 17 beautiful years of marriage with his late wife, Aracely G. Banuelos, and they spent many happy hours together playing Bingo and enjoying life side by side. He was a skilled painter and handyman in his early career, known for his hardworking nature and helping hands. A devoted father and proud grandfather, Ignacio never missed a chance to support his sons, Jerry and Andy, at their sporting events. Every Sunday, he looked forward to calling his daughter Korina to take him to spend the day with family, watching sports and classic game shows like Family Feud and The Price is Right. Ignacio was a loving father to five children, a doting grandfather to his beloved granddaughters, and an amazing brother to his two sisters and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrea S. Banuelos and Ignacio Banuelos Sr.; his wife, Aracely G. Banuelos; his brother Andres Banuelos; his sister Bertha Proctor; and his step daughter Nadine García and is survived by his daughter Korina Banuelos; his sons Andres and Jerry Banuelos; his grandchild Emma B Banuelos; his brother Raul Banuelos and his sister Martha Mundy.
