Irene V. Aguilar

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Oscar Ramon Ramirez and Eloisa Heredia Ramirez; her grandchildren; Alexis Castillo (Arturo Melendez), Oscar R. Ramirez (Yvette Garnica) and Crystal Irene Ramirez, her great grandchildren, Isis Melendez, Cruz Melendez, Pablo Ramirez and her nephew, Juan A. Hernandez, her beloved doggie, Peanut and her beloved bird, Birdie.

Irene graduated from Bowie High School in 1959. Soon after she went on to work as a Campus Patrol at Jefferson High School for 30 years where she was affectionately known as Berreta.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central, 3839 Montana Avenue with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 12:00 pm at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, 408 Park Street.

Irene will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Cruz, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Blvd.
