It is with profound sorrow and deep love that we announce the passing of Jesus “Chuy” Marrufo, 61, on January 29. Chuy was born on July 8, 1964 in El Paso, Texas. He left this world surrounded by the love he so freely gave throughout his life. He was a proud El Paso High Tiger, always had a smile, made everyone laugh, and never shied away from a good time.
He was a man of strength and quiet resilience who honorably served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He demonstrated his love through hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to his family. Chuy is now reunited in peace with his beloved mother, Lydia, and his cherished son, Jesus Marrufo II.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Ana, and his loving daughter, Lydia (David). A proud grandfather, he found great joy in his grandchildren: Xzavier, Renee, Mimi, Sofia, and Camila. He is also survived by his siblings, Martin, Sylvia, Cindy, and Cita.
To know Chuy was to know loyalty, perseverance, and unconditional love. His legacy of family and strength will live on for generations. Though his absence leaves an immeasurable emptiness, his memory will always remain in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, Chuy. You will forever be loved and never forgotten.
