Ortiz, Jesus “Jesse/Chuy” was born December 21, 1962 and passed away on November 19, 2021 in El Paso, TX. Jesse operated and co-established El Paso Border Hose & Supply for over 10 years. He was a devoted grandfather and loved spending time with his family. He was passionate about music, riding his Harley, and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a skilled artist and pool player. His personality was larger than life and he will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Jesse is preceded in death by his mother, Lorenza and father, Conrado Ortiz. He is survived by his loving wife Cindy Aguirre; sons, Jay Chaffin (Calvin), Joseph Ortiz (Jessica), Carlos Aguirre Jr. (Michelle), Chris Aguirre (Jennifer) and daughter, Clarrissa Aguirre; grandchildren, Joseph Ortiz Jr., Jayden, Janae, Abram and Jaliyah; siblings, Yolanda Banda (Gilbert), Mary Gonzalez (Jaime), Elizabeth Ortiz, Leticia Velasquez, and Carlos Barragan (Mercedez).
Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 4-6 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East with Rosary following from 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 PM on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 11AM at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
