Jorge was born in Jalisco, Mexico on April 24, 1949. In 1973 in a small church in Pennsylvania, Jorge accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and from that point on the direction of his life changed.
In 1975, shortly after meeting Jesus, he moved his family to El Paso, Texas to attend Latin American Bible Institute to study the Word of God. He led many people through teaching, missions, spanish translation among many other things. He was a stranger to no one, and immediately created an engaging place for people to understand the truth of Jesus.
