It is with deep sadness & heavy heart to announce our beloved Joseph Rene Duran has passed away on June 2, 2025 at the age of 44 in Dallas Texas. The same city of his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Where his last act of love was to donate his organs to 8 people. Joe was born on February 28, 1981 where he was born and raised in El Paso & Socorro Texas to Irma Lujan Gonzalez & Manual Duran. He was preceded in death of his grandparents Irene Lujan & Roberto Lujan.
Joe graduated from Montwood High School in 1999 & played football all four years of high school . He played against the famous Roy Williams in the play offs vs Odessa Permian in 1998 but sadly lost 55-7. Joe also attend and graduated from Western Technical College and got a degree in Computer Engineering. Joe’s last job accomplishment was at Harbor Freight. He took such pride in his job. Where he touch so many lives and impacted so many people.
Joe is survived by his lovely mother Irma Lujan Gonzalez. His oldest brother Rick Duran and his nephew Dylan Duran. His Second older brother Fernie Gonzalez jr. & his wife Arlene Gonzalez. His niece Elisa Gonzalez her daughter Nyleea Dior Prince. His nephews Izrael J. Lara and Anthony Gonzalez. Lastly his lovely children Guili Duran, Nayeli Duran, NJ Duran, Neyah Duran and Joleena Renee Duran. He is survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903.
