Lillian June Cheney

Family & Friends are invited to attend the funeral services of Lillian June Cheney on June 20, 2020 at Evergreen East Funeral Home, 12400 East Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas 79938. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 11:00am with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00am. A Graveside Service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East. Lillian June Cheney, age 82, passed away peacefully June 6, 2020. She was born on March 1, 1938 in Lancaster, Wisconsin to Lillian Marie Wiest and August Christopher Wiest. She married her longtime love, John Cheney on December 19, 1961 who preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by her two children Terry Cheney and Tammie Lopez and 5 grandchildren Misty Alva, Shera Diaz, John Cheney, Adam Cheney and Dallas Del Rio. June worked for Walmart and made many memories with friends dressing up for the holidays. She also enjoyed participating in work events until she retired in 2000. She enjoyed good food and socializing, playing scrabble and in her younger years, she played spades and bowled with friends. She loved to travel with her husband and sightsee. She was very active in life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Memorial gifts can be made to Terry Cheney and sent to Evergreen East Funeral Home, 12400 East Montana Ave., El Paso, TX 79938.
