Lois Jean Garner

LOIS TAYLOR GARNER born Jan 31, 1945 in Wrightsville, AR passed away Tuesday Sept. 20, 2011 at the age of 66. She was preceded in death by father Earl Taylor, mother Claudia Taylor & father in law C.B. Garner. Survived by husband of 44yrs John Edward Garner of El Paso, TX, son John Eric Garner (Silvia) Grandmother of Denisha, Eric & Brandon of Tulsa, OK. & daughter Arminta Garner of El Paso, TX. She is also survived by Sister Vernedia Hammitt (Henderson) of Baytown, TX, nephew Andre Hammitt of Houston, TX, niece Adrienne Tanner (Edward) of Houston, TX, nephew Tre Hammitt (Le Quisha) of Baytown, TX. She is also survived by her mother in law Thelma Garner of Hercules, CA, sister in law Cheryl Shaw of Seattle, WA brothers in law William Garner, Roy Garner, Derrick Garner of CA & a host of cousins, nieces & nephews of TX,DC,VA & CA. Lois attended Douglas & Bel Aire High School. Lois was a nurse for many yrs she received her RN degree from Excelsior College. Lois was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011 from 5pm to 9pm at Del Angel Martin funeral Home Central Montana. Funeral Service on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011 @ 11:00 a.m. in Martin chapel with burial to follow at 1pm FT Bliss National Cemetery.
