Every moment with my grandpa was never a dull one. Him and I had a relationship and connection that simply cannot be replicated because of how special and full of love it was. Every single time he would visit us, I remember opening the front door, and the first thing he would do is drop his bags and hug his grandchildren so tight that we laughed and begged him to let go. And that is just one of the many things I will miss about him. My grandpa was so incredibly sweet and gave more than he received. He will forever be one of the strongest, most greatest heroes I could have and letting him go has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I love you so much, grandpa, and I dearly hope we can sit down, have some menudo, and laugh together again one day. Thank you so much for everything, and you will definitely be missed by many, many people.

I dont have to many memories with grandpa. Other than him always making me laugh and letting my play on the playstation 1. I do and will always remember him making me feel loved. I wish I could have been around you more grandpa l miss you and will always love you grandpa. 

Fortunate to have met you Luis.  Have only seen you a few times, but they were always very special.  You always had a great sense of humor and full of many stories.  A great man.  My deepest condolences to the entire family.  Godspeed.   

You will be missed Grandpa.

To the greatest role model, hero and father.  Thank you for teaching to be an altruistic individual. Thank you for teaching me about making sure that my leadership is about guiding and not taking. Your legacy will live on. I love you dad. 

I will miss my uncles yearly visits to California, I will miss hearing him say “Betty como estas”, I will miss hearing  him say stories about his retirement life in La Chona. 
I’m thankful that my parents, nephew and I were able to visit him and spend time with him in January. I wish the outcome of his fight against cancer would have been different but it comforts me to know he is no longer in pain.
