On January 4, 2025, Mrs. Luz G. Montes, our beloved mother passed away. She was 95 years old. Luz is survived by her sons and daughter, Edmundo Montes Jr., Alberto Montes, and Teresa Mena. In addition, she is survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many family members. She is predeceased by her husband, Edmundo Montes Sr.
The viewing and rosary will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Central Funeral Home (3839 Montana Ave.) on January 15, 2025, at 6:00 pm. The mass for Luz will be held on January 16, 2025, at St. Pius X Catholic Church (1050 N. Clark Dr. El Paso, TX 79905) at 12:00 PM followed by the burial at Evergreen East (12400 Montana).
