Manuel Olague departed to the heavens on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025 surrounded by his loving friends and family. He was a proud Army Veteran, serving his country in the Vietnam War and the Korean War. During his 20 years of service, he achieved the rank of First Class Sergeant Major and was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star Medal. Mr. Olague had a passion for mechanical work. He took this passion and his skill from the Army to the City of El Paso, where he worked for over a decade before retiring from the El Paso International Airport. Mr. Olague was very kind. He was always out helping others with automotive, mechanical, and A/C related work. He is survived by his loving wife, Sun Kil Y Olague and their family.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a rosary at 6:30 pm at Funeraria del Angel Central 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 12:30 pm at Funeraria del Angel Central, followed by interment in Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
